Academy structure
One focused year of development.
A selective program for up to 12 players. Each cycle runs from March through December and includes scheduled team practices, coaching sessions, gameplay reviews, individual development planning, and organized competition.

Players are evaluated throughout the program using consistent performance standards—not statistics or rankings alone.
- Mechanical proficiency and individual impact
- Strategic awareness, tactical judgment, and in-game decision-making
- Clear communication, effective teamwork, and disciplined role execution
- Adaptability across team compositions, playstyles, and match conditions
- Consistency in performance, preparation, attendance, and reliability
- Receptiveness to coaching and demonstrated application of feedback
- Professionalism, sportsmanship, and competitive integrity
- Composure and execution under competitive pressure
Following annual evaluations in December, up to three standout players may be considered for advancement to THE MOON THEORY’s professional squad.
Selection is not guaranteed and depends on readiness, team needs, and long-term competitive potential.

Application reviews and competitive tryouts begin in February 2027. Meeting the minimum requirements establishes eligibility but does not guarantee a tryout invitation or Academy selection.
Minimum eligibility
- Be at least 18 years old by the application deadline
- Reside in North America
- Actively play THE FINALS on PC
- Maintain an active game account in good standing
- Have reliable internet access and a functional microphone or headset
- Maintain an active Discord account
- Disclose team, roster, or contractual commitments that could affect participation
- Submit a complete and accurate application by the deadline
